The annual report of terrorism against Iran was published by the Habilian Foundation in 1402.
Coinciding with the 36th anniversary of Mersad operation, Habilian Foundation published the annual report on terrorism against Iran in 1402. This report includes terrorist acts of groups against the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iranian citizens. The information of the terrorist events that happened in 1402 in different parts of the country is presented in the form of illustrations, diagrams and tables.
This is the third annual report on terrorism in Iran prepared by Habilian Foundation. The report is prepared based on the news and information of domestic and foreign media and checking their accuracy. This report states that in 1402, 159 people died in terrorist incidents. Of these, 136 are Iranian nationals and the rest are nationals of other countries. Also, 58 of the victims are women and 33 are children and teenagers.
One of the noteworthy points of the report is the sharp decrease in the number of terror martyrs in the northwestern regions of the country compared to previous years. This reduction shows the effectiveness of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s powerful measures against terrorist and separatist groups based in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
This 70-page report can be viewed and downloaded on the Habilian database. Its English version will be published soon.
